aaah.. I like this picture! (: It shows the truth of big cities. In the centre is all fantastic and "sooo wonderful" but out of the centre is poverty and criminalism.

i've always liked these street views of large settings like this. i've lived in small towns my entire life and rarely get to see buildings so large. when i see them from afar, or as i pass in the car, it's nigh impossible to appreciate the magnitude of such buildings and the time that must have gone into their creation. standing in the street looking up at such enormous structures makes the world feel so much larger than most people seem to realize
